+1 Up and running on CentOS Linux 7, as a forward-only caching proxy server.

+1 I've had master and then the 5.3.x branch up and running on CentOS Linux
7 for a couple of weeks now.
Everything works well in forward-only proxy mode.

Most likely you're missing a library, and TrafficServer's build process
just skips the command instead of failing.
Here was my experience on CentOS 7:

"curl-devel". ;-)
After doing more research, I pretty much answered my questions myself.
If it helps at all, I can definitely say HTTP/2 seems to be working with
Google Chrome v40 and Traffic Server v5.2.0.
I ended up tracking down the Google Chrome flag and enabling it
early...before Google ships their change. :
Sorry to bug everyone, but I just wanted to ask a couple of quick questions
about HTTP 2.0 and Traffic Server.
I did some quick testing with Firefox 35 and Google's sites recently.
Using Live HTTP Headers I saw some responses with the happy-looking
"HTTP/2.0" string in there.
It got me thinking:
Just wanted to drop a note and mention that if anyone ever gets the itch to
try porting Traffic Server to this platform maybe I can help with admin
support, a shell, etc.
I'm pretty familiar with DragonFly at this point and can pretty easily
"spin up" a virtual server with it at any time.
Why am
+1 Up and running as forward-only proxy on CentOS 7 Linux(VPS).

Adam

I know this is late, but I've been running RC1 as a forward-only proxy on
CentOS Linux 7, since your e-mail went out.
+1

I actually have my forward-only web proxy set to be pretty aggressive about
caching.
I then use cache.config to override that behavior for the few sites that I
know caching wouldn't make sense for.
My cache.config looks like this:
dest_host=mlghds-lh.akamaihd.net scheme=http action=never-cache
d
Sounds like a plan to me. Also, a quick thank you for preparing for
releases by branching somewhat early.
It's been really useful to me personally.
Regards,
Adam

Is there are any particular time of the day that's better than the others
