Sounds similar to having newest xorg release built with defaults and hald not
runnign. Is mplayer killing hald? Anyway, new xorg is not sane.

How can I do when it hangs like window? It appears running but no
response in both keyboard and mouse.

Well, you can do the killall on the same computer, no need to ssh via
another one. It doesn't solve the problem but it spares you the use of
another computer.
