Hi Benito,
I use UIM for Japanese input in dwm on a daily basis. I have
shift+space mapped to toggle between Japanese and English input. It
was fairly painless to setup, just had to add this to my .xinitrc:
export GTK_IM_MODULE='uim'
export QT_IM_MODULE='uim'
uim-xim &
export xmodifie...@im='uim'

Thanks! All your efforts are very much appreciated on my end :)
Somewhat related, is there any word on if/when the flash video full
screen issue will be resolved? That is, when trying to full screen a
flash video, it drops back to the original page after popping up.

Very cool! Thanks for this.
I haven't patched dmenu yet, but will probably do it first time I have
to put something huge into the clipboard (I don't think I have that
use case yet).
Everything else works great. Had to install xclip though.

I have been getting this behavior for a while too, both in Firefox and
Chromium, using DWM 5.7.2.

Is there a reason why this functionality is not mainlined?

Yeah that seems to do the trick. As long as I stick to one monitor and
don't expect detached windows to remember their positions, it's not
too bad.

I'm floating eclipse across the length of 1.5 monitors using xinerama.
Whenever I use a dialog inside eclipse, it tries to center itself and
considers the center as the center of the first monitor. Is there a
way to fix this? Or is there a better way of streaching apps across
monitors?
Thanks,

Looks promising. I'd love to run Arch on a smartbook!

I've been following the list for a while and I'm curious what everyone
is using as their distro of choice? Also, which distro do you feel is
most suckless?
Personally, I run Archlinux on my home and work boxes, Rockbox on my
old iPod nano and android on my G1.
I played with Linux from Scratch and
Good point. Do you think a tabbed interface is inappropriate as well
or is that something that would be considered a valid component?
Also, does anyone know of a good stand alone adblock? Privoxy doesn't
pick up most of the ads adblock targets.

thing firefox has that I need are tabs and adblock.

the only thing I need to make this replace firefox a lot of the time
for me.
