We don't intend to move away from our mailing list approach.
Also bare in mind that we have a better mailing list archiving tool on
our wishlist for quite some time. Perhaps in the near future someone
will address this -- then it might be possible
One disadvantage with with NNTP is that the current
standard tools for sending packages are for e-mail
and mailing lists. Tools for NNTP has too be added.
Of course, you can always send patches manually.
