- yeah, that's the capability I miss compared to any other SCM system I know
(which is CVS, Perforce, and now - a little of git).
Add it to other smaller but also annoying things, and I am half the way into
git manual... Git has handy submodules which can be brought together into

I'm trying to hunt down a strange issue where children in directories
added during a merge (i.e. copied from another branch) get committed
as "replaced" rather than "added".

I found no way to delete file external once svn:externals property has
been set (not committed) and update performed once. See attached
reproduction script for details.
I think update should remove file external when its definition is
removed from svn:externals property. What do you think
