svn: E155004: Working copy '/myfolder/etc' locked.

there is no lock on the folder. This problem happens intermittently. I’d like to understand why, sometimes, svn locks the folder where I am making file changes. I expect the files themselves to be locked, but not the folder. Kind Regards, Geraldine McCormack.
