You need to use a StringType. The CharType and VarCharType are there to
ensure compatibility with Hive and ORC; they should not be used anywhere
else.

The parallelism of queries executed in given SparkContext can be controlled via
spark.default.parallelism
I have a scenario where need to run multiple concurrent queries in a single
