HIVE-11720 is needed to handle very long HTTP
IIRC this was all about shading of dependencies, not changes to the source.

That branch has a 1.2.1.spark version but spark 2.0.1 uses
1.2.1.spark2. Could anyone point me to the repo for 1.2.1.spark2?
