FYI: I spent some time cleaning up Roller's Jira. I closed all tickets 10
years old or older and I closed a bunch of old feature requests that we are
not likely to implement. I also attempted to set priority on the 34
remaining tickets based on what I thought was most important. You can fin

ve,
Please could you check my authority on the roller jira, for some reason it
does not let me assign any issues to myself. The media file issue should

Hi Greg, as you're a PMC member I just moved you from the "Committer" to
the "Administrator" role, meaning you should now be able to do whatever
you want; indeed, you now have all the same JIRA rights on Roller as
Dave himself.

Dave,
Please could you check my authority on the roller jira, for some reason it
does not let me assign any issues to myself. The media file issue should
work now but have noticed some other related issues.
Cheers Greg.

Hello,
We met this problem in production : Comment notifcation emails being sent

The solution is to test into MailUtil.java if the current comment is
approved.

Dave, did your anti-XSS patch for 5.0.1 (

this issue: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ROL-1727 ? I think we
can close this, right?
Thanks,

No problem. I don't know the entire system, and sometimes I might close
something that should actually remain open--don't be bashful, go ahead
and reopen any of those that you think should remain open.

I've been trying to keep up with the issues that you are closing, Glen and
it's not easy, but every issue that I have reviewed looks good. Thanks for
doing this!

I'm not sure why that form of URL no longer works. The link that I use
for the Roller JIRA is this:

Hello,
https://issues.apache.org/roller does not seem to work any more, is
there another url now?
I was curious about 5.0 status so I went to check Jira by clicking link
from roller.apache.org front page but got 404 Not Found response:
<http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/roller>
But then remembered this link form dev archives:
<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ROL>
Bcc'd are the users whose logins were changed during the migration
from the Roller JIRA to the main JIRA. This was because those logins
were already taken in the main JIRA.
Your new login is roller_. So 'anon' becomes 'roller_anon'
etc. Passwords should remain the same.
The Roller project has now been migrated
into the main JIRA at http://issues.apache.org/jira/.
Those who were JIRA admins on the Roller JIRA now have the
admin role for the Roller project in the new one. Members of
cayenne-developers have been added to the committer role.

We're just about ready to move from opensource.atlassian.com to an
Apache hosted JIRA. Bugs are being migrated now, so please hold off on
any major work in JIRA. I'll let you know when the move is compete.

This is not the standard Apache JIRA. Does it have the ability to
mark an attachment as an Apache contribution? Since we're now Apache,
it seems we need this feature to be enabled for this JIRA
installation...

I found it. If you go to edit notification; add notification; you can
multiple select the events and have it use a single email address.
This feature might be different on the jira version you're using but
on the main Apache jira this function is there.
And then, you press the d
Hi Dave,
I think the address needs to be changed in all 20 events. That's what
I had to do for other projects on graduation.

Is that email address specified in one single place somewhere in JIRA?
I found the "Default Notification Scheme" but the address is specified
in each one of about 20 events.
Do I really need to change each one of those events to point to the
new address or is there an easier way?

Hi,
I notice that the JIRA notification scheme still has the incubator
email address. Might be good to update this to the roller.apache.org
address.
I'd change it myself but I'm not admin on this jira system.

is there any way to get email addresses obfuscated on Jira? email
addresses are getting posted in comments and things, which is fine, but
it's annoying when that leads to spam because email addresses aren't
obfuscated.
anyone know how we might accomplish that?
