I don't see strong objections on this, so we will start proceeding with
putting the spark client in the main repo, and we will move
it out to a separate repo if the client plugin later if needed.

I’m fine to start with the plugin as part of main repo.
We can always move later if needed.
I guess we also include the plugin in Polaris releases (same version). I
will check the dep and distributed artifacts to verify there is no “legal”
issue.

I'm not convinced that keeping it in the main repo is necessary but I don't
think that's really
important at this time. I think it's simple enough to move the code out
later if we find that

Along with the support of Generic Table, we are also introducing a Polaris
Spark client to interact with the new APIs.
