Hi,
OVN creates patch port pair for logical router interface, the routing
packets go through ovs openflow pipeline many times (for routing in one HV,
it is 3 times), i am confused why implement it like this, can anyone tell

For multi-tenancy use case, i think it is not allowed to boot VNF in

Hi Dball,
I am not clear about the localnet workflow, pls clarify, thanks.
The current usage of ovn provider network is like this,
1, first create ovs bridge which connects to provider network, for example
br-provider
$ ovs-vsctl add-br br-provider
2, create a mapping between network and bridge

Hi Ben,
I have one question about ARP support for logical router, i notice you add
table MAC_Binding and ovn-controller translates the entries in MAC_Binding
to Openflow flow table 65. The flow in table 65 is in this format,

Since neutron M will be released, will networking-ovn be released in M

If not, is there any release plan about networking-ovn?

The OVS 2.4 claims it supports DPDK tunneling, I am confused about how it

Thanks your reply.
Is the user space vxlan module copy from the linux kernel vxlan module?
The tunnel usage is the same to me if I upgrade ovs 2.3 to ovs 2.4, right?

In OVN, there is no use of neutron l3 agent, it uses native router for
east-west traffic, this is distributed and already supported. But for

Hi all,
Openstack neutron ovs agent calls ovs-vsctl to create bridge and ports,
after i upgrade to ovs 2.4 with dpdk, some ovs-vsctl commands can not run.
For example:
neutron ovs agent uses the command "ovs-vsctl --timeout=10 --oneline
