Hi Michael
Just opened the ODM file without any problem under Ubuntu 18.04 x64 and Windows
7 x64 so it seems to be a Mac specific problem.
Have you opened a bug report at https://bz.apache.org/ooo/ ?
If so, please share the link.
If you can test versions 4.1.3 and 4.1.4 that could help locating

completeness.

Yikes!
Hi Pedro,
I was not able to open bug report at https://bz.apache.org/ooo/ due to a
missing account at AOO Bugzilla.
I tried 4.1.3 and 4.1.4: 4.1.3 works, but 4.1.4 crashes.

Our devtools repo is till under svn; should we switch it to git. It would be
nice, I think, to use on version control implementation for all our code
related repos.

Within /Apache/OpenOffice.git repository? Or a new
/Apache/OpenOffice-devtools.git?
+1, especially if history is preserved.
Of course there would be wiki and webpages to update.

To me, it being within OpenOffice.git makes the most sense... but I'm fine
either way ;)

I am uploading both the regular and the ./Dev/ builds... just in case there is
something in the Dev builds themselves which causes issues

Hi,
I just updated my system to macOS 11.5.1 and reinstalled OpenOffice
4.1.10: it still crashes.

Can you try this version:

Hi,
Maybe it is "just" a corrupt AOO profile?
Unfortunately I don't know how (where) to rename it on macOS...

The Crash Report indicates that it is the Check For Updates function that
causes the problem. Some weirdness with serf and SSL certs.
libnss3 -> libsmime -> libnssutil3 -> libplds4
