1. Will your DBase program ever be backward compatible withe MS Access?
2. Is there support to be able to enable your DBase program to run off
of a independent CD. MS Access has this capability available.

How about presetting the fields according to the autodetected values,
where possible?
Then if the auto-detection works for some of the fields it will reduce
the work for the user.
