Sorry that I was misunderstood.
I didn't really mean the patch was redundant:
- I am aware that upstream (hsqldb) will be releasing a new version (2.3)
which will fix the jdk7 problems and will work with AOO.
- I am not aware of anyone working on updating this so if you guys have a
patch
