If I close through the File menu, I get the crash dialog, but the file was in fact successfully saved and opens correctly. I recommend against fixing this in 4.1.4. We need to do work on file save for 4.2 anyway, and I would rather not delay 4.1.4 unless absolutely necessary. On 9/20/2017 5:

Under Windows 7 x64 the equation does display correctly but there is no way to save the document without crashing. AOO crashes when inserting the equation in Writer but also when opening a Math/Formula file and simply by typing an equation in Math. See detailed instructions in https://bz.apach
