Just thought I'd mention, concerning the python build and newer Windows SDK...
Long ago I changed the naming of the python build patches to clarify that
Python expects to change the build path for newer MS compilers.

docx is basically a zip file... (like ODT)
And there are a lot of files from "ancient" times that are not UTF-8
encoded. They will throw warnings, of course.

Although, personally it is easier for me to fire up a Windows VM... ;-)
Regarding Windows SDK 7.0: Yes, this needs to be replaced and every
little step forward *is* a step forward.
