Maybe it helps to disable "Check for Updates" in the prefe
The Crash Report indicates that it is the Check For Updates function that
causes the problem. Some weirdness with serf and SSL certs.
libnss3 -> libsmime -> libnssutil3 -> libplds4

Hi,
Maybe it is "just" a corrupt AOO profile?
Unfortunately I don't know how (where) to rename it on macOS...

Can you try this version:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/openoffice/4.2.0-Dev3/binaries/de/Apache_OpenOffice_Dev_4.2.0_MacOS_x86-64_install_de.dmg

Hi,
I just updated my system to macOS 11.5.1 and reinstalled OpenOffice
4.1.10: it still crashes.

I am uploading both the regular and the ./Dev/ builds... just in case there is
something in the Dev builds themselves which causes issues

Hi Jim,
Sorry, these are NOT Dev builds, compare to Dev2:

To me, it being within OpenOffice.git makes the most sense... but I'm fine

I'm not getting that crash, even after scrolling thru the doc, resizing the

Within /Apache/OpenOffice.git repository? Or a new
/Apache/OpenOffice-devtools.git?

Our devtools repo is till under svn; should we switch it to git. It would be
nice, I think, to use on version control implementation for all our code
related repos.

Hi Pedro,
I was not able to open bug report at https://bz.apache.org/ooo/ due to a
missing account at AOO Bugzilla.
I tried 4.1.3 and 4.1.4: 4.1.3 works, but 4.1.4 crashes.

That's c9282f5c5c ?
Building for Windows now. Might take some time, since I can do only
single threaded build with Cygwin 3.2.0.

Hi Michael
Just opened the ODM file without any problem under Ubuntu 18.04 x64 and Windows
7 x64 so it seems to be a Mac specific problem.
Have you opened a bug report at https://bz.apache.org/ooo/ ?
If so, please share the link.
If you can test versions 4.1.3 and 4.1.4 that could help locating
