Here's more detail: Issue 126130 seems to be all about the problem of having Java 8 (or intentionally upgrading to Java 8) on MacOS and having attempt used of the JVM from AOO lead to a fault somewhere. Users either can't get the recommended Java 6 or misunderstand the site's advice.
