Thanks for flagging this issue. This hasn't shown up in regular builds
of the main branch due to the existence of previous snapshot versions,
but I see how this is happening with a new version.
I am cancelling this Release Candidate and I will put up a PR to
correct the issue soon.

Thanks for putting together the first RC candidate, David! Unfortunately, I’m
having trouble getting it to build on a new laptop.
I ran the build using:
./mvnw -T 1C clean install -Pcontrib-check
