We already have API (AdminClient.createPartitions,
CreatePartitionsRequest/Response ) to increase the number of partitions of
the topics.
So, we may not need the protocol changes proposed in the KIP. Let me know,

Hi all,
I would like to volunteer to be the release manager for our next time-based
feature release (v2.4.0).
If that sounds good, I'll post the release plan over the next few days.
Thanks,
Manikumar

Why do we need new ACL operation "CreateUsers"?
I think, "CreateTokens" Operation is sufficient to create "UserA can
create tokens for UserB, UserC" association.
Thanks,

I agree it will be good if we can add "commit id/version" as an
attribute value.
It will be easy to parse. But as of now, KafkaMetric supports only
numerical values.

I agree with Jason/Apruva comments. we can wait some more time and enable
it in 1.1.0 release.
In general, we are in agreement with the change.

Hi Rajini,
Yes, It provides the failure rate for all errors. I got confused with old

I will discuss some of your notes (new consumer API, HTTP/2, multi-REST-proxy
etc) at
kafka-rest project issues page .
Thanks you all for participating in this discussion.
