Thanks Vikram - yes I'd like to try my hand at this while Vikram is out.
I've gone through the diffs between .14 and trunk today to make sure we're
not missing anything. Posted a few updates on the respective jiras.
We're at 16 jiras now and I'm hoping for a candidate early next week.

Hi Folks,
I am going on a vacation starting this week and will not be able to
complete the release process in time for that. Gunther has volunteered to
take over the release duties in my absence. We are down to 18 jiras and I
hope that we can get the release out soon.
