I am writing a simple thrift HMS client to get table location on hdfs, I
generate the cpp code from hive_metastore.thrift, Can someone give me some
guide of how to do it next, the info I searched on the internet is too abstract

request takes over eight seconds to respond on localhost. Why is this so slow,
