STC has been improved a lot in Groovy 3, thanks to Eric's hard work! For
medium-to-large projects, finding bugs early is very important, so I suggest
enabling STC by default.
As for Groovy itself, it's a great language especially for Java developers,
but it is lack of manpower to evolve fast an
