Hi,
today I'll be working hard on integrating the Mavenizer into Flexmojos. While
this will resolve the hard dependency on Air and Flash libraries making it
possible for us to release Apache Flex in Maven, there still are some
dependencies to third party libs. For example the Font handling stu

This looks like an issue with basic-manifest.xml in projects/FlexJSJX, but
ColumnChart, BarChart, etc. are all listed. I'll continue to look into it.

Did your contacts at Apple and Adobe say why there’s a problem with

Thanks.

Hello Team,
With Adobe Flex,- BlazEDS and Spring-Flex-Core libraries were used to

Now i have an Apache-Flex-SDK installer and have installed 4.13.0. Now how

I could not get much information related to this
Which jars are you talking about? Are you sure they are in Maven Central?
The issue is that back in the day, Flex management was more interested in
growing the market for Flex than in making sure all of the licensing and

Either way, if they have been available, unrestricted, for a prolonged
period, without Adobe actively contesting the right of Velo - or anyone
else - to distribute them, then they are de facto in the public domain.

Om,
Have you actually found the jars on Maven Central? I can't find them with
the search facility. Can you post the URLs?
Thanks,

?Hi Guys,
I just wanted to inform you that the latest SNAPSHOT version of Flexmojos 7.1.0
will utilize the 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT version of the Apache Flex Mavenizer.
While my changes from today will have no effect on existing Flexmojos builds ,
it now allows to omit the playerglobal or airglobal de
Hello,
I'm trying to download Flex 4.12 and it always fails, when the installer
tries to download afe.jar from Adobe Opensource site, as that one requires
password. I tried to download Flex 4.13 and that one managed to finish ok.
Does anyone have any idea, why it is happening?

Chris,
To test this, are these the correct steps?
1. Get the Mavenizer from here [1], follow instructions in README.
2. Copy over the generated Flex SDK artifacts to the local .m2 directory
3. In my project's pom.xml,
- update flexmojos.version to to 7.1.0
- update flex.sdk.ver
I am trying to follow the steps here [1]
When I run 'mvn package' in the flex-utilities/mavenizer directory,
everything seems to work fine, but there is no jar file called
flex-sdk-converter-1.0.jar in the mavenizer/target directory as mentioned
in the README.
Thanks,
Om

BlazeDS is an optional install when you are using the installer - did you tick
all the checkboxes? The latest SDK does support this.
Thanks,
Justin
I just checked in a fix resolves the FlexJSJX build issue. After compiling
the ChartExample, I can run it, but I see only the PieChart rendering
correctly. All other charts have their fill properties set to none. This
might be related to the fix I made. Can you please take a look at how to
