Hi all,
I have chosen AIR 13 + FP 13 + Flex 4.12.1 in the Flex SDK Installer 3.0.
And the installer stuck in the 5th block, here is the install log:
Version 3.0.0 (mac)
Using Locale:zh_CN
Fetched the SDK download mirror URL from the CGI.
AIR version 13.0
Flash Player version 13.0
Creating Apache
Hi,
Second run stuck in the 6th block, I think it might be the network issue
which leads to incomplete download of the playerglobal.swc file.
I think it would be better if the SDK installer could retry the download
when such event happens.
I'm going for the another try, wish me luck : )

After 3 times, I finally get it done : )
My suggestion is add the retry feature to the Flex SDK Installer, so that if
a file cannot be loaded or taken too much time, just drop it and reload it.

AIR used to consist of max 3 libs up to 4.0 but starting with 4.0 it seems to
conatin a lot of stuff oft he Flex SDK (compc.jar, mxmlc.jar, ...) Why is this

Somewhere around the late 3.x AIR SDKs, they started bundling ASC2.0. But
they also provided links to AIR SDKs without ASC2.0 for Flex. The list of
links is in our README or RELEASE_NOTES.

It might be better to deploy from the flex version of the air sdk. The
installer uses the url in the sdk installer config file.

OK, no CDN for Apache. I'd seriously consider paying for this one small
file to be hosted on a CDN if it made a difference in responsiveness.
