We have a fairly robust filtering mechanism :

product has dozens of other features, filtering being one of them.

"Filter columns" means show only rows which have some term like anything
containing "term1" (in the column which you filter or optionally all
columns) or maybe starting from it.
Ideally that list should be updated as user types
