OK. The supposed advantage of having a script for the release is that it will remember all of the steps in the right order and all of the details, so there aren't as many mistakes, such as adding the wrong filename to the installer-config-4.0.xml and things like that. My 2 cents, -Alex On 11/9/1

Hi Alex, I was able to figure out this one and it looks like SDK RC1 is waiting for announce. It is hanging on gpg, but I think fix for that could be just copy part for signing from build to releasecandidate and it should work. Something is wrong when I'm trying to launch it from different file.

Hi Alex, It was probably separate problem than I have with releasecandidate.xml where Ant is hang on exe file. First I upgraded my ant to the newest version, but it didn't help. Next I have tried to launch Adobe Extension Manager 5 just by double clicking - simple launch of application - it appear

Sounds like you are having trouble with Exec on Windows. Wasn't the signing executable also hanging for the installer signing? What version of Ant are you using? Run some simple ant scripts that launch other apps. I saw on Apache Ant forums that some version of Ant did have hanging issues. HTH,

I updated and ran the approval script. It found some tests without headers. I added headers and kicked off a new nightly build. Looks like it takes a couple of hours to build on my slow Azure VM. Other than that and the license thing Justin found, I think it is ok to release. -Alex On 11/3/17
