I am working with Prominic to integrate the language server I built for
VSCode and add many of the same code intelligence features to Moonshine.

Carlos,
I'm going for sure in the next days try to switch completely to VSCode. Will
provide feedback. I see that Jetbrains won't help us at all. :(

Hi,
sad news Chris :(...
while I always like IntelliJ and was my prefer choice as we left FB, I
think the way Jetbrains manages open source is horrible.
I'm with Josh and his effort of making VSCode + NExtGenAS a great IDE for
FlexJS development, and as it's open source and we can control all th
Hi Om,
Infact yes - With this workaround it's possible.

Hi,
The main reason is that the flex plugin doesn’t inspect the SWC files to build
up the namespace based component index.
In the old sdks the plugin has hard coded which manifest file to process for
which namespace. My fix involved detecting the difference between a flex and a
flexjs sdk and
Alex,
Intellij itself is seeing corectly SDK, but when you open mxml file - all
components are not recognizable. In order to fix that I'm adding SDK once
again to project - As library and I got what I need Code Completion.

That's a bummer. Can you capture what you learned somewhere like the wiki
so the next person who takes this on doesn'
Chris,
As for the fix - you are talking about compilation using plugin - For me I
don't have to have it - The only thing important to me is to have FlexJS
recognizable in Intellij with fully workable code completion and
documentation.
I will use Maven for building.

Chris,
Let's say that you will fix and got support for FlexJS. You are working on
fork on github - If they don't whan't to accept OK - Can we just have our
compiled version downloadable?
Why we cannot have this fixed jar on github and just pont - Hey whoever want
to have support need to download
Hi all,
Unfortunately, I was told, that probably even if I did find the fix, it would
probably not be accepted by Jetbrains.
The reason was that if IntelliJ had a FlexJS SDK type they would sort of have
to claim FlexJS compatibility for IntelliJ and they probably don’t want to do
that. Don’t a

Cool! I'll have to take a look at how you implemented it, when you're
finished. I'd love to add better support for the Feathers SDK in IntelliJ
too.
