Hi,
Moonshine is also using Josh's extension behind the stage. I would say that
it is closer to Flash Builder experience with Moonshine, where VSCode is
more script oriented in case of configuration.
Thanks,

Hi,
I personally use VSCode with Josh extension, but another option is
Moonshine that I use sometimes. Both of them are very good options in 2020.

Hi yes I have seen this link but clicking on the try or buy now redirects me
to the creative cloud and I can no longer see the Flash builder.

Hi ok thank you for enumerating the different options. I actually haven't
tried anything yet here. Do you have a better recommendation on which one to
use? Maybe like closer to flash builder ?

It does, but Flash Builder doesn't run on Linux ;) You always had to
create Linux packages via a command line (or ant, or maven, etc).

Out of interest, does Builder not like the 2.x AIR SDK any more then ?

nstall the latest
available AIR SDK for Linux and compile it using the command line.

Nice!
BTW, I think were trying to avoid making it just about Flash Builder.
Perhaps we can have anchor links to the other ones as well?

Hey everyone,

that I also upgraded my proxy class set from the Flex Builder 3 generator

OSX or windows? I have it running on OSX (64 bit) without any issues if that
helps.
Justin
Hi,
I just wanted to make sure that I just download the flash builder 4.7 ,
could this install into the 64-bit system ?
is there any prerequisitest install into the 64-bit system ?
Many Regards,
When I set the -advanced-telemetry compiler argument on a AIR-based Flex
project, runnig and debugging are all good, but I lose 'content-assist' feature
of the flash builder and lose 'ASDoc when hover' feature.
Anybody can verify this problem? any solutions?
Running on Mac OS X 10.8.4.

Hi,
Just tried in FB 4.6 (on OSX) with -advanced-telemetry and release build and
there's no issues, so it may be a FB 4.7 only issue.
Thanks,
Justin
Hi,
Although I tried to create the Release Build in Flash Builder 4.7, the
error occurred.
Compiler options: -advanced-telemetry
Best Regards,
What result do you obtain with a component from the experimental lib ?

Hi Alex,
the solution is to manually edit the auto generated "ns" to whatever you
want when it's generated the first time in an MXML file...then the same
with the next MXML file...cumbersome but less than nothing.
This is what we want to avoid since people should left what they get from
the tool
/swiz
with prefix "rs"
tried to change to:
library://rs.codeoscopic.com/riality/swiz
and
library://r.codeoscopic.com/riality
but had no luck :(
I think this is a regression in Flash Builder 4.7, since this was working
in 4.6
Thanks for your sugestion :)

I think that is probably hard coded. In the completion it is already
offering ns as the prefix.
But could you use a template that has your xmlns already baked in?

I am creating an swc library that includes a namespace manifest, using the

When referencing and using a library with a manifest, the first time you
use a component in a MXML document FB will autodeclare the namespace uri
for you, using a prefix like "ns", "ns1", ecc.
None of us worked on FB, so we don't know how it works. I'm not clear what
the steps you are using to reproduce this issue is. Are you just typing
xmlns in an MXML file or is it the auto-complete suggestions or something
else?

Hi Cosma,
very interesting, I have the same issue with my as3 libraries. My defined
library namespace is "r" but FB throws "ns"
I couldn't get this to work again since FB4.7
Maybe Alex, Carol or Peter could point what's happening and if something

I have a SWC library declaring a custom namespace, when I use it I'd like
to have FB suggest a custom prefix declaration in MXML.
Currently, FB is able to provide the default "s", "fx" and "mx" prefixes
automatically, any other is declared as "ns", "ns1" and so on.
In previous version there was a
