Just a heads up on Pootle. I know it creates .properties files. I use it for my own projects. The biggest pitfall I ran into was hooking it up to mysql. I am more apt to work on a regression than other SDK bugs. But everyone gets to choose what they work on. However, you are definitely doing the right thing by making noise for bugs you want fixed. If you can, add it to FLEX-33952 it will also help keep it in front of our faces. -Alex On 2/5/14
