Just a heads up on Pootle. I know it creates .properties files. I use it
for my own projects. The biggest pitfall I ran into was hooking it up to
mysql. I missed setting the db type to utf8_bin, and it took me hours of
debugging to find that was the problem. Other than that one caveat, it was
a eas

Well, I've checked in enough stuff to the Installer that don't think I
have anything else on my list. It would be nice if folks could translate
a few more locales. Maybe I'll give pootle a shot. And hopefully Om will

I'd like 4.12 to use the new code paths and that requires changes to
installer.xml and .properties files that should go in the release kits.

It's new software only casually tested by a few people. The installer works on
multiple platforms and in multiple languages and is the main vector for how

Why do we need a 4.12.1? Why not just integrate the installer when we do the
next SDK release ie in 3-4 months fo

In the read me, I think we should point Linux users at the ant-based
install process, I think the relevant Ant tasks are all on the main

Hi,
I see mismatch in RSLs names. For example flex-config.xml contains
advancedgrids_4.12.0.2014-02-09_13-31-27.swf
but the file in [Flex SDK]/frameworks/rsls has name
advancedgrids_4.12.0.20140209.swf.

Any changes in release need to be merged back into develop as there where our
tests run. IMO our branching is a little pointless,
Hi,
Looks like the last regression issue has been fixed (many thanks to Alex) -
what else is required when we vote on a RC and finally get 4.12 out there?
Obviously we need a complete pass of the mustella tests - but is there anything
else? I know there a new installer in the works but there no
TES tomorrow as well.
Also tomorrow, I'll start a series of discussions about the new installer.

Well, given the 'mess' I made of things today, that statement no longer is
true :-) But in 2 full runs from now, the 13/4 combo will get it's turn.

A few notes about the README:

Should be "Building Apache Flex 4.12"

I am more apt to work on a regression than other SDK bugs. But everyone
gets to choose what they work on.
However, you are definitely doing the right thing by making noise for bugs
you want fixed. If you can, add it to FLEX-33952 it will also help keep
it in front of our faces.

Are regression bugs on a higher priority than other bugs? Just asking
because I found one for the numeric stepper. But it is a regression since
4.6. Just throwing it up there incase it was missed.

Hi,
We probably have enough fixes and enough time has passed to make a new release.
There are three regression issues that I can see that would need to be fixed
before we can do this.
Two relate to datagids and tabbing - anyone how any idea what changed to cause
these issues?
