I have the CMS setup to serve straight HTML files (for things like the AS
Docs, and LiveDocs, should we ever get it). We just need to make sure we
setup the right filters when we post those files. They are technically
still managed by the CMS, the CMS just won't mess with those files.

What I seem to remember is that the CMS allows for HTML, or at least,
it can be taught to serve 'plain' HTML.

Not sure. I don't know if all website content must be under SVN CMS or
