Hi Alex,
when I setted the splashScreenImage to null it was not working...
I changed something in the part of the app how to create and add body parts
to the avatar and this solved the problem... but I am still confused, what
the SplashScreenImage had to do with this...

When I delete the SplashScreenImage the problem is gone...
Inside my app the splash-screen-graphic is added to a specific layer - the
one where I add the "tops/arms" so when I change the color of the top,
the Splash-Screen-Image is also colored.
