Boy, I wish they'd just call it 14.1.
Here's the score card, for those interested. First, here is the current
entry in sdk-installer-config-4.0.xml:

That's great to hear.

Yes, Justin found an issue with the 14 beta. Thanks for also trying it.
Stay tuned for a solution.

Hi Alex,
I’ve tested Flex SDK Installer 3.1 RC5:
Flex 4.13.0 RC2 + AIR 14 + FP 14 - Installation Completed Successfully in the
1st run.
FlexJS 0.0.2 RC2 + AIR 14 + FP 14 - Installation Completed Successfully in the
4th run (previous 3 runs failed when downloading Apache Flex SDK, guess it’s

Remove alpha's from version numbers before substituting?

Hi,
I'm having a little problem downloading Apache Flex 4.13
Every time I want to download Apache Flex 4.13 with the latest AIR and
Flash Player betas I get the following error:

It happens with both the latest RC of the Installer and 3.0. I downloaded
4.12.1 with AIR 14
Hi,
I have also been working on getting the flex-copy-resources mojo to work for
Maven versions greater than 3.0.5. It seems some APIs have changed with 3.1.x
that sort of makes it impossible to have the mojo working on x <= 3.0.5 and x
>= 3.1.0 versions. I currently would prefer to change Flex
The Azure VM has 7Gb of memory on a 2GHz 4 Core AMD Opteron, and that is
just about the minimum to run Mustella semi-reliably ;-)

Well, that seems to fix the caching and lookup problem, but there remains
an interesting issue: right now we really don't have code in the install
scripts and/or installer that handle having both a released AIR 14 and an
AIR 14 (beta). The install scripts need a distinct version number in
order to
Finally found time to respond to this (while waiting for AIR 14 beta SDK
to download)

Hi,
-1 binding for now due to AIR4/14 and broken caching
I checked (on OSX):
- md5 and signatures correct
- Still waiting guidance on NOTICE / LICENSE so OK for now
- source file headers correct
- no binaries in release (except fonts see above)
- can compile from source with AIR 4

I think we still don't have the sdk-installer-config-4.0.xml set up
correctly on the web server. I've just made another fix and am testing it
now. Cross your fingers.

Hi,
Also looks like caching is broken when installing 4.13 RC2,
Caching is turned on and has a valid URL and this is the second run through the
installer - on OSX if that matters.
Here's the log - this time also got AIR download failing (when it should be
cached).
Version 3.1.0 (mac)

Good news guys :-)
Ok ... so Infra is installing our own private Windows Server 2008 machine that
is dedicated for the Flex project and we will be provided with "root" Access so
we can do whatever we like on it ;-)
Infra asked about the minimum requirements ... how much disk Space, Ram, CPU

Hi,
When selecting FP / AIR 14 beta it looks like the installer is still
downloading the FP / AIR 14 release version.
Here's the log:

Hi,

How exactly? The source release is still using AIR 4. Does this mean that the
binaries are not make directly from the tagged source or is the source release
is incorrect? ie not everything been checked in?

I don't think Flex has an implementation for native cursors. You would have
to natively set the cursor on roll over and set it to auto on roll out. As
far as I know, Flash only comes with a few default cursors:
