The .classpath files in compiler.jx and compiler.jx/tests are showing up as
modified in git. Should we put them in .gitignore? I wouldn't mind having
them in there as a starting point.

I tested your version on Firefox (V14.0.1) and it works, except for the
TRANSER button does not work. (Text typed into the Text Input box does not

To avoid confusion: "my" code is a carbon copy of Alex's. The only
difference is - and should be - that his code is compiled using
FalconJS and mine is compiled with FalconJx. This means that as of
now, both compilers have the same capabilities and the transition of
FlexJS from FalconJS to FalconJx
It does. No GCC with Advanced Optimisation enabled yet (or rather, it
is enabled, but the resulting code is not yet working ;-)
Without that 'release' optimisation, the application loads lots of
files from the Google Closure Library and of course from the FlexJS
framework, i.e. 100s of KB at least
