Hi Anatoly,
Thanks for the comments!
So now running with the correct
ries, rte_eal_init() successfully finished, but then calling
rte_mempool_lookup() gets null data... ☹
Do you have any idea?
Thanks,
Asaf

How to build 'igb_uio.ko', without the need to build all DPDK code?

Hi,
Could not find API for getting number of lanes in transceiver
(e1000/ixgbe/i40e/mlx5 drivers). Is there such API?
We currently use hard-coded values, according to the various SFF standards
(8074, 8431, 8436, 8636, etc.).
Thanks,
Asaf

Unfortunately, I did not find such option or similar one in 'testpmd'.
Anyone knows if it is possible, and how?
Thanks,

Additional questions:
Is it possible to use MLNX_OFED-4.3 on Ubuntu 12.04?
Why is the driver related to OS version?

and installed the EN driver
(mlnx-en-4.0-2.0.0.1-ubuntu12.04-x86_64), but it also failed with the same
error.
Both drivers were compiled with "--dpdk" argument ("--upstream-libs" is not
supported).
