I already tried the version on three different machines (WinXP,
Win2003Server and Vista). On all the systems it runs just fine, and the
registration page shows up in the browser as expected.

openoffice 3.0 rc1 stucks by first start where you can choose if you
want to register. After one click to complete the first configuration
soffice.bin goes to max system usage and no progress is to notice. Bad
thing.
