Verified on Mac M4.
Also tested against datafusion-python. PR here:
https://github.com/apache/datafusion-python/pull/1107 to show the
relatively minor updates we needed to make during migration.

Hi,
I would like to propose a release of the Apache DataFusion Python Bindings,
version 45.2.0.
I have two special notes for this release
- The version is 45.2.0 due to changes I needed to make during release
candidate testing prior to submitting this for a vote. I would like to
revisit next rele

In testing with datafusion-python I have found one problem that is causing
our unit test to fail. I think this will be an easy fix.
I've opened an issue describing in more detail the problem I've run into:
https://github.com/apache/datafusion/issues/13907

Thank you, Andy! I'm sorry I didn't catch the problems before suggesting
the release.

When I ran the `datafusion-python` tests they all went fine. After that I
have a set of unit tests in my own repository for internal work and ran
into two issues:
1) Now that built in window functions are being removed, calling things
like `datafusion.functions.window("lead", ..)
Congratulations! Very well deserved!

Hi all,
I've closed four of these issues but not #508 - json for substrate plan.
It's an enhancement a user would like and a fairly easy one to add. I've
tagged it as a good first issue.
Please reopen any that continue to give problems.
Thank you David for looking through these!

Tim

Verified on m2 mac in python 3.10 and 3.12.
Note: We need to add one line in the updated verification instructions to
do a submodule init and update.

I think this is a great idea. If we could push it back an hour, I would be
able to attend over my lunch hour.

Please change my vote to

Michael found a problem where we haven't specified typing_extensions as a
dependency for pip.
I will get a PR up tonight.

I recommend generating a new rc2 since the correction is already merged
