Hey Andrew,
I will go fill out those todos later today. Some of those steps (like
pushing release to apache servers) is on my backlog to automate into a step
for coho.
I don't see any issues with bringing other release related tooling into the
cordova-coho repo.

Hey All,
I noticed Andrew made some config.xml changes to help bring it up to widget

I say we begin the tagging process for 2.9.0 final on Monday. That gives us
a couple of days to get everything tested, tagged and released before the
end of the month. We can also merge in 3.0.0 branches after the 2.9
release.
Notifications should go into the cordova-plugin-dialogs repo that is
already created. Shaz is looking into doing this for iOS.

Hey Don,
Currently, all of the platform repos have 3.0 branches. These branches have
the plugins ripped out. You can run the usual creates scripts for each
platform to create a project. You would then use plugman to install the
plugins into your created projects.

I have been keeping 3.0 branches fairly up to date by rebasing master into
3.0. All of the 3.0 branches need one final rebase from master before we
merge them into master. The rebase is always a little messy due to the many
`updating cordovajs` commits we have added as we have been testing.
I will

Hmmm,
I actually thought we were leaving logger in core and not pulling out the
console plugin. I at least marked it on jira
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-3639. We should probably discuss
if this is something that we want to pull out into its own plugin.
CDVLogger is the reason console.
+1 to making it a platform dependency and keeping it as a plugin.

What happens if I make a change to the camera plugin. Do I immediately bump

To install any plugins you at least need plugman which requires node. Our
users are most likely going to have to install node as a dependency at some
point. I don't see why having it as a dependency for platform libraries is
such a big deal.

I want to try and flush out the process for merging the dev branches for
the core plugins into master and get it onto the wiki.
Currently the dev branches have some readme changes, namespace changes and
package changes for android.
I don't believe any of these changes should be breaking changes.
Thanks for the feedback Andrew!
Sounds good to me. I am going to go through these steps today.

I think Shaz was working on this before he went on vacation.

What would the command look like to install it if we aren't using git urls?
cordova plugin add camera? Would it automatically take the latest version
off the registery?
I like the idea of working on master and tagging a plugin when it is ready
to be published.
On Tue, Sep 17, 2013 at 1:21 PM,
FFOS will be tagged tomorrow. I have a few changes I am going to get in
tomorrow before tagging but it will be good to go very soon!
With FFOS, Only two plugins have been ported so far (vibration and device).
We are going to continue to add firefoxos support to plugins post release.
I don't think
I think for plugins it should be unassigned by default seeing how it can
affect any/all platforms.

I think since it has taken longer than expected to get the RC tagged, the
final release has been push till thursday to allow more time to test. Is
this correct?

I realize why Anis decided to do a new branch (3.1.0) because he didn't
want to mess up dev/master. Before we release 3.1.0 we need to do a plugin
release based off of http://wiki.apache.org/cordova/StepsForPluginRelease.
Jesse has changes for the plugins that he has pushed to dev now based on
