github discussions are a great way of keeping code conversations very close
to the actual code and I think would suit our project better than our use
of #slack
The apache airflow project switched to use discussions [1]
This is not configurable via asf.yml [2] and requires an infra tick

I quite like GitHub discussion for support over chat tools like Slack.
Slack is not really accessible for users and the limitations of the free
plan are not good. We still could use the official ASF Slack for some
