I see a lot of people who come from other communities (specifically CNCF)
who are more familiar with the term "maintainer"[1] and are looking to map
their existing understanding to our titles and roles. The actual

Generally, you can make contributions and existing committers will
merge your code until you are invited to become a committer yourself

ComDev,
Can we get HBase logo merchandise added to the redbubble store?

I didn't think there was a direct add option to our lists - once you sign
up you get a mail asking you to confirm your subscription.

A few section specific comments -
Largest/Busiest projects is difficult to make use of due to the huge

I think http://ctakes.apache.org/ is an example of this in the healthcare

I'm not sure where you want this conversation to go - anybody is free to
propose project to the incubator. If you see a need and a potential
solution, then I'm sure you could start to build a community around it.
I see that we're setting the List-Unsubscribe header already here, but in
GMail I don't see an unsubscribe decorator next to the "from" address.
Maybe there is another step to make it happen?
I'm not an email guy, so I'm not sure how helpful I can be.

Howe about the next volunteer that comes by asking for project ideas, we
have them build a volunteer wrangling system? A bit tongue-in-cheek here,
but there's a need that can be filled there.
The difficulty, from my perspective, in guiding volunteers is that there is

Would this be easier to have a file somewhere in svn where people can add

It's possible to schedule future tweets to automatically post using
TweetDeck, so that might ease some of the time zone difficulties.
Can we check in a hard-coded list of groups to ignore that has been
manually generated for the ones that we _know_ are not related? I'll take

Minor design nit: the content boxes should either be centered or do a
better job of auto filling the available horizontal space. Otherwise, it
looks spiffy, despite being fairly tiny on my monitor.
Would also like to see the releases page sort by date by default, and show
more than 10 entries. Thi

Could rename the directory, but this probably breaks some existing pages.
Or could request a white list entry from the AdBlock maintainers[1].

Rich,
A question about conflict of interest policies. If I plan to submit
content, can I still be involved in the selection process? I am part of the
Apache Accumulo PMC.
