I thought it was great, but it didn't seem to me to be all that clear that
people knew where it was and understood *what* it was. Some people thought it
was a hangout place where ONLY Apache members could mull around.

And if it happens, and if I can be there, I can bring a mando. Guitar and
keyboard have the widest appeal, however, and guitar wins on coziness.
Where this worked best was where I was l local and could bring a few
guitars in addition. Can't do that where I have to fly.

I was only there for buzzwords, not the foss backstage event.
The lounge format was congenial, but I feel like it put Apache off in a
corner. It seemed like Apache folk were comfortable to stay there rather
than wander the event and connect outside of our small corner.
