Hello Rob,
I'm afraid you have to change 1.12 with 1.11: "since Apache Commons Codec
1.12 was released, so I would like to release Apache Commons Codec 1.12"
and in some other places: for ex. "CLIRR Report (compared to 1.12):"

We have fixed quite a few bugs and added some significant enhancements since
Apache Commons Codec 1.12 was released, so I would like to release Apache

Apache Commons Codec 1.12 RC1 is available for review here:

Can someone from PMCs add release data to https://reporter.apache.org ?

Hello Gary,
Actually all "old" releases should be downloaded from
https://archive.apache.org/dist/commons/collections/
dist.a.o is synced to mirrors and should contain latest releases only
(multiple releases are OK if several branches are being supported by
community)

To use a SNAPSHOT build, you must specify it on the command line if you do
not do so in your POM. For example:
```mvn -Dcommons.build-plugin.ver
Thanks for the heads up...we’ll get it out sooner than later. What sort of
Hi guys,
Is there any new on when commons-cli 1.5 (or any other version coming after
Just a guess, but
Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: No available
authentication scheme
seems to hint at TLS version / cypher suite changes. The antique
versions probably want to use a cypher suite that is disabled on Java
for now.
Hello All,
I'm planning to finalize the release
I have couple of questions:
Current dist/release contains
1) binaries for 3.2.2 and 4.2
2) RELEASE-NOTES.txt for 3.2.2 + 4.1 + 4.2
I plan to move 4.3 binaries to dist/release, wait 24 hours then drop 4.2
Is it OK? shall I also drop 3.2.2 binaries?
