Yes, and follow best practices of running qemu as non-root, and a user that
has no privileges and a restricted shell! Change user and group in
/etc/libvirt/qemu.conf

Andrija, Marcus, Keep in mind that the vpc configuration scripts changed
drastically in 4.6/master. The ms-called scripts are replaced by a json
representation of the configuration that is processed on the VR. Any fix to
the present set of scripts will be short lived.

Thanks Daan, ok.
But we really need to fix this for good - it completely breaks VPC
functionality on user side - I will try to have this fixed with my team.
It's really interesting I'm having this problem across different releases
(4.3.x 4.4, 4.5) but i.e. I asked Lucian for help, he provided me
So, I vaguely remember an issue introduced a little over a year ago where
the broadcast domain value of the nic was changed from a URI to just a vlan
ID, which worked for vlans but broke vxlan and some other things. If I
remember correctly, there would be a small set of installs during this
period
That would probably be a bug that I had...but we updated main VLAN table
with change URI or something... Marcus saved me that time :)
Andrei, please provide more info and the info Marcus said, I will try to
compare my values with yours if of any help.

Are you saying if you add a timestamp to the Removed column, the Primary
Storage no longer appears in the Infrastructure tab? If so, I was thinking
that's the behavior you desired.
If that's not what you were hoping for, perhaps you can explain in more
detail.
Thanks!

Hello,
We had no problems building and using /31 networks on 4.2.0, but after our
upgrade to 4.4.2 we are no longer able to add new ones.
We have a lot of them already in place. As an example I pasted some output
from cloudmonkey on a link that is already established and working.
Does anyone ha
Yes. I add a timestamp to the removed column, the local storage.
I run " list storagepools " by cloudmonkey and the local storage is no list.
However, the Infrastructure on the web UI is no data (just as attachment images).
I rollback the update in mysql db (set NULL to the column), and then

Daan,
Thanks for heads up on 4.6 changes, nevertheless, quite of few folks
will use 4.5 for at least a year before they upgrade to 4.6 or 4.7 by
then, so we should still fix it in 4.5.

Here's our environment,
1. Primary Storage is 12TB
2. Actual allocated capacity of primary storage 14.17 TB
3. Storage.overprovisiong.factor is set '2'
The primary storage utilization ratio is supposed to be 59.6% ,
14.17/(12*2), which is correctly displayed in 4.4.3.

Hi Devender,
IIRC some changes have been made in this area in recent releases. So first
ip address in the cidr would not be treated as valid ip address for
assignment since it is a network id. So /31 would not have sufficient ips
to deploy vm.
Thanks,
Sanjeev
