The content of the .zip is just the .vhd, and they are the same.
$ cd ~/Downloads; mkdir foo; cd foo
$ unzip ../systemvmtemplate-4.4.0-hyperv.vhd.zip
Archive: ../systemvmtemplate-4.4.0-hyperv.vhd.zip
inflating: systemvmtemplate-4.4.0-3-hyperv.vhd
$ ls -al systemvmtemplate-4.4
created a job in jenkins.bac.o with tag 4.4.0
