I love the idea of moving forward with resolving some of the quality
process / tooling / etc... challenges that we face as a project and

I bet we never got an answer. Frankly, I'd like to see us use
something where the licensing is clear. That, or we don't include the
WSDL in our repo / distro.

The free license we have for IntelliJ for committers is set to expire in
Feb. I've been in contact with them, and can request a new license when
it gets closer to that time.
