Yes, my bad for letting that one slip. With 5 +1 (including my own), one
other +1 and no -1's, the vote pass. I'll get the artifacts published.

Time to call this one?

One of the reasons it is so long is because there are quite a few duplicate
entries.
* (Hadoop) support authentication in CqlRecordReader (CASSANDRA-7221)
* (Hadoop) Close java driver Cluster in CQLRR.close (CASSANDRA-7228)
* Fix potential SlabAllocator yield-starvation (CASSANDRA-7133)
* Warn
Since we closed the first try we've fixed even more bugs, with notable
things
like CASSANDRA-6285. In any case, that changelog is getting pretty damn
long so
I propose the following artifacts for release as 2.0.8.

Thanks for the typo in NEWS and CHANGES file. Those have both been fixed. I
would tend to say that such minor typo should probably not trigger a
re-roll, but since it appears no-one is willing to vote on this, maybe
people expect a re-roll after all ?
PS: Yatong Zhang: this issue is not resolved.
With the lack of votes, the other issues mentioned in this thread, and most
importantly the reopening of CASSANDRA-6285 (which should be trivial to
solve), I'll throw down the -1.

and what about https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6092 ? It's
supposed to be fixed in 2.0.8

There's a small mistake in CHANGES.txt - these changes from 1.2 branch were
already in 2.0.7:
* Continue assassinating even if the endpoint vanishes (CASSANDRA-6787)
* Schedule schema pulls on change (CASSANDRA-6971)
* Non-droppable verbs shouldn't be dropped from OTC (CASSANDRA-6980)
* Shutdo
In NEWS.txt the second 2.0.8 should be an earlier version.
2.0.8

...
Upgrading
-
- Nothing specific to this release, but please see 2.0.8 if you are
upgrading
from a previous version.
