Will Cassandra Propose Any Ideas for GSoC 2011?

Hi developers, I'm a graduate student from National University of Singapore, and I'm interested in Cassandra project. Cassandra proposed ideas in the last year. So how about this year? I also found some of the issues proposed for last year's GSoC are still open. Will they be valid for this year?
