Hi Francesco,
Is there any help wanted on this task? I would like to help on it, and pick

Thanks a lot.

I haven't tested exhaustively, but as a first approximation, it works for me. I
was able to get bookies up and running following the steps in the repo
description, with the caveat that I had to use a different image name. I have

I realized that in the PR there is an error. I will re-file ASAP the correct PR
(with probably the centos build in dir "4.4.0").
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I will file a PR ASAP (naming the new directory "docker").
@Jia: Have you tried the new version of the build? It should resolve the zk

Jia,
Thank you for your clarification.
Francesco,
It might be good for you to send a pull request by putting your docker
files to directory 'docker'. So people who has docker experiences can
review it.

Hi Francesco,

release procedure, we should be able to support that.
- regarding the directory name, is 'docker' enough? any reason that you
prefix with 'bookkeeper-docker‘?

Either centos or debian should work for us. Actually, another data point that I
got from a colleague is that only centos works well with dcos-commons according
to his experience, which others might not care, but we use with our stuff.
And, thanks for the clarification on configuration parameters

Thanks Sijie, I will re-read docker hub guidelines and write the proposal
accordingly.
Alas, I had no time for refreshing the topic, so I think that discussing it is
useless in today meeting, but I think that in the next one I will be ready.

I am okay with putting the docker build files in the main repo and
configuring the jenkins build to automatically push the docker images to

Hi Sijie, the issue is https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BOOKKEEPER-974.
There is also a meeting note
