Hey everyone,
Just wanted to give an update on the release. There's one potentially
blocking issue left (https://github.com/apache/beam/issues/29818) that I'd
like to get resolved, or at the very least, understood as a non-issue,
before building RC1.

Hey everyone,
I just cut the 2.53.0 release branch (
https://github.com/apache/beam/tree/release-2.53.0) and will be working on
getting the release branch stabilized.
There are two release blockers on the release milestone (
https://github.com/apache/beam/milestone/17)
1. A transform upgrade bug
