There might be something in Acero, but this something I’ve been planning to
work on..
https://github.com/apache/arrow/issues/39128
Parse formula into relationship operators.
Wrap * operator with pc.multiply
Wrap - operator with pc.subtract
Etc. etc.

OK, great, thanks both for your comments. Given there don't seem to be any
overall objections, I'll push ahead with getting this set up and make a PR
to integrate it into the docs.
We can assess its suitability once it's up there and we've got some data
from testing it out.
Cheers,
Nic
On Tue,
As there's no objection so far, I will prepare the corresponding PRs.
Thanks !

We've had a pretty stable schedule for the monorepo during the last ~3
years. Giving more visibility to those timelines and for the different

I think a best effort regular release is good (at the minimum keeping
dependencies current is worth it, looking at the number of recent
dependabot PRs) and with the new, actual versioning it

Hi folks,
Following the first 18.2.0 release on arrow-java repository, I would
like to start a discussion about having regular pace on Arrow Java
